The tenth World Cup, will be played in the Indian Sub-continent, hosted jointly by India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. 14 countries will compete against each other, which will be played from 19th February, 2011 to 2nd April, 2011. The 14 countries are Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, England, Kenya, India, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Zimbabwe. There will be a total of 49 matches played, on the format of One Day International. All these games will be played in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. For security reasons, these matches will now be played in India. It is the first time that Bangladesh will host the World Cup.
